The Rejected Stone Cornerstone

A psalmist surrounded and pressed hard by nations cries out, and Yahweh answers, turning certain defeat into deliverance — a reversal the congregation celebrates as the stone the builders rejected becoming the very cornerstone. The triumph is marked by a full processional liturgy: the gates of righteousness swing open, a sacrifice is bound to the altar's horns, and all Israel joins in the jubilant refrain that Yahweh's loving kindness endures forever.
