Righteousness Through Faith

Paul tells the Romans that God has now revealed a righteousness that bypasses law-keeping entirely: every person has sinned and falls short, yet God freely justifies them through the atoning death of Jesus Christ. That same gospel, Paul adds, leaves no room for boasting and holds for Jew and Gentile alike, since the one God justifies both by faith alone.
