Story · 10 parts
Traveling toward Jerusalem by Pentecost, Paul moves through Macedonia and Greece before reaching Troas, where he speaks until midnight and a young man named Eutychus falls asleep in the window, tumbles three stories, and is taken up dead — until Paul embraces him and declares his life is in him; pressing on by sea and bypassing Ephesus, Paul summons the Ephesian elders to Miletus, warns them that wolves will ravage the flock after he is gone, commends them to God, and kneels to pray with them — and they weep on his neck, knowing they will see his face no more.
