Paul Rebukes Corinthian Immaturity

Paul diagnoses the Corinthians as still fleshly infants, then twists the knife with irony — they fancy themselves rich and honored while the apostles go hungry, naked, and cursed as the world's filth — before calling them to imitate him as their father in Christ and warning that when he arrives he will test not the proud words of the arrogant but their actual power.
