From the whirlwind, Yahweh dares Job to match divine power — to humble the proud and crush the wicked — then parades before him two creatures beyond human mastery: the massive, untroubled Behemoth and the fire-breathing, armor-scaled Leviathan, king of all proud things, against whom no weapon can stand.
