Dedication of the Wall

Priests, Levites, and the princes of Judah gather at Jerusalem's rebuilt wall, purify themselves, and form two grand processional companies that wind in opposite directions along the top of the wall before converging at God's house with trumpets and loud singing; there they offer great sacrifices, and the joy of the celebration — shared by men, women, and children alike — is heard far beyond the city.
