Baptism and New Life

Paul answers the question of whether believers should keep sinning by pointing to their baptism: to be baptized into Christ is to die and be buried with him, then rise to walk in newness of life, the old self done away with and sin's power broken. So he calls them to choose their master — presenting themselves to God as people raised from the dead, not as servants of sin that leads to death.
